Keep your transceivers, accessories, and other sensitive 12-volt electronics safe with the SPS-1 — a solid-state smart power switch and protection device. Unlike traditional fuses and mechanical circuit breakers, the SPS-1 uses a solid-state Infineon PROFET™ automotive-grade switch paired with a microcontroller that monitors voltage and current 1,000 times per second.

Three layers of automatic protection:

• Instant Overvoltage Shutoff: Reacts within 1 millisecond to protect sensitive components.
  
  
• Smart Fuse Overcurrent Protection: Configurable from 5 to 35 amps without chasing down blown fuses.
  
  
• Undervoltage Monitoring: Prevents erratic operation when your power supply sags.

No welded contacts, no fuses to replace—just fast, reliable protection with industry-standard Anderson Power-Pole connectors.

The SPS-1 is equally at home in a fixed shack or a mobile installation. A simple rotary switch on the board lets you dial in your current limit and operating mode without any software. For mobile operators, Mobile Mode automatically powers down your radio after the vehicle is turned off and brings it back up when charging resumes — no relay wiring or ignition tap required.

Advanced users can connect via RS-485 and use the Sierra Radio Systems DCN protocol for full remote control, real-time telemetry, and complete parameter configuration, all backed by a free browser-based configuration utility.
